How it works

  1. Today

    Take the assessment

In your own words. You add a payment method at checkout.

  2. After review

    A provider reviews it

A provider licensed in your state. They decide, not an algorithm.

  3. If a provider approves

    Then it ships

It ships from a licensed independent pharmacy, and your provider sets any follow-up.

The detail, if you want it

Nothing here is required reading.

This one opens with its price published in full. When it does, the figure you see covers your medication, your provider, follow-ups and shipping. Lab tests your provider orders aren’t included in your price. They’re billed by the lab you choose, not by Panterra.

The largest providers in this category publish a $39 introductory month renewing at $149 a month. That fee buys no medication: it is billed separately and, in at least one case, is not available without an active membership. On the same medication cost, twelve months there is $1,678.

The gap is fees, not medicine.

$39 plus $149 times 11 is $1,678 in fees over year one. Medication is priced identically on both sides of this comparison, so the only variable is what you are charged for being a patient.

Competitor figures were accurate to published rates at time of writing and change frequently. Verify before relying on them.

No. That is the rule the business is built on, so we can publish the entire schedule up front. Your starting price is confirmed by your provider before anything ships, and it does not move as your dose does.

Week 1 · starting doseComing Soon
After that · adjusted doseComing Soon

Your provider sets the starting point and every change based on how you respond. Some people never move past the first step, and that is a normal outcome.

Worth asking anywhere you shop: what is the price at the highest dose I might reach? Competitors commonly publish medication prices that step up, separately from the monthly fee.

The form your provider prescribes may be an FDA-approved generic or a compounded preparation. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA review for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality.

Yes. This is dosed off a real panel rather than a questionnaire, so a draw comes first.

Sometimes a panel means no prescription at all. A thyroid result can be the whole answer, and that ends in a referral rather than a sale.

Likely a fit
  • You have been told you are in range but have not felt right for a long time.
  • Nobody has run your levels in years, or ever.
  • You want follow-up labs, not a one-off prescription.
Not a fit
  • You have untreated prostate or breast cancer.
  • You are trying to conceive in the near term. Discuss this first.
  • You want a prescription without bloodwork. We will not do that.

A provider makes the final call. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

Who prescribes this

A provider licensed in your state reads your intake before anything ships, and their name appears on the plan you receive.

Why this one

Hormone care here is prescribed off a measured panel rather than a symptom questionnaire, and the target is your own baseline instead of a population average.

If it is not right for you

They say so plainly, and your provider sets any follow-up rather than leaving you alone.

Important safety information

For Men’s hormone care. A summary, not the complete list of risks. If you add another treatment to your plan, its own page carries its safety information.

This is not for everyone

Only a licensed provider can decide whether hormone therapy is appropriate for you, and only after a lab panel. It is not for men with prostate or breast cancer, untreated severe sleep apnoea, uncontrolled heart failure, or a high red blood cell count. Tell your provider if you want to father children: this treatment suppresses your own production and can reduce fertility.

Serious risks

Elevated red blood cell counts, which is why bloodwork is repeated; worsening of sleep apnoea; swelling of the legs; blood-pressure increases and possible cardiovascular risk; prostate changes, so PSA is monitored; and mood or behaviour changes. Topical forms can transfer to partners and children through skin contact until dry.

Common side effects

Acne, oily skin, fluid retention, breast tenderness, changes in mood, sleep or sex drive, and injection-site reactions.

Combining treatments

Adding treatments at the same time makes it harder to tell which one is working and which one is causing a side effect. A provider will usually ask you to stage them, starting one and adding the next at a follow-up. If you add another treatment to your plan, its own safety information applies as well.
