Weight loss

Weight loss treatment online

Panterra connects you with licensed U.S. providers online for medical weight care, including GLP-1 class medications, through Kalos for men and Hygeia for women. A provider reviews your health history before anything is prescribed, and each treatment has one price per refill, with no membership required to be a patient. The weight medications offered are compounded and are not FDA-approved.

How it works

  1. You complete a health intake online.
  2. A licensed U.S. provider reviews your information.
  3. If a treatment is appropriate for you, the provider issues a prescription.
  4. Your medication ships to you, and follow-ups are included in the price.

If treatment is not appropriate, the provider will tell you and may suggest other options. A prescription is never guaranteed.

What it costs

Each treatment has one price per refill that includes the medication, your provider, follow-ups, and shipping, with no membership required to be a patient. The provider consultation fee is part of that price and is itemized before you pay. Current prices are listed above and on each treatment page.

Guides and tools

Want to hear from people living it? The Panterra community is a free, moderated space for anyone on or considering a GLP-1, whatever their provider. Members share their own experience, not medical advice.

Common questions

How much does weight loss treatment cost?

Each treatment has one price per refill that includes the medication, your provider, follow-ups, and shipping, with no membership required to be a patient. The provider consultation fee is part of that price and is itemized before you pay. Current prices are listed on this page and on each treatment page.

Are these medications FDA-approved?

No. The weight treatments offered through Panterra are compounded by state-licensed pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Your provider can explain how they compare with FDA-approved options, and our guide to compounded medications covers the basics.

Who can get a prescription?

Only a licensed U.S. provider can decide, after reviewing your health history. These medications are not right for everyone, including anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, a history of pancreatitis, or who is pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. A prescription is never guaranteed.

Is weight care available for both men and women?

Yes. Weight care is offered through Kalos for men and Hygeia for women, at the same price in both.

Important safety information

Prescription required. These medications are available only with a prescription from a licensed provider after an evaluation. This is a summary, not the full prescribing information; each treatment page carries its own safety details.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide

Who should not use it. Only a licensed provider can decide whether this treatment is appropriate for you. Do not use it if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, if you have had pancreatitis, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your provider about diabetes and every diabetes medication, kidney disease, gallbladder disease, stomach or digestive conditions, a history of depression or suicidal thoughts, and any planned surgery or procedure with anaesthesia.

Serious risks. Medications in this class caused thyroid C-cell tumours in rodents; it is not known whether they cause them in humans. Stop and contact a provider for a lump or swelling in the neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Seek care for severe stomach pain that does not go away, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis or gallbladder problems), for signs of dehydration or reduced urination, for low blood sugar if you also take insulin or a sulfonylurea, for sudden changes in vision, or for new or worsening thoughts of harming yourself. Because these medications slow stomach emptying, tell any surgeon or anaesthetist you are taking one. This treatment acts on two gut-hormone receptors rather than one; the class warnings above apply to both.

About this medication. This treatment is compounded for you by a state-licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and do not undergo FDA review for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. Your provider prescribes it based on their clinical judgement and your intake, and can change or stop it at any time.

Other areas of care

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality, and they are not tested in clinical trials the way FDA-approved medications are. See our guide to compounded medications.
