Questions

Do I have to choose Kalos or Hygeia first?

No. Start here and the assessment asks who the treatment is for. You can also go straight to a house page above.

Is the price different in each house?

No. Both houses use the same price for the same treatment.

What happens after I start?

A provider licensed in your state reads your answers and decides whether treatment is right for you.

Important safety information

For Tretinoin. A summary, not the complete list of risks. A provider reviews the full information with you before anything is prescribed.

This is not for everyone

Only a licensed provider can decide whether this treatment is appropriate for you. Do not use it if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have eczema or sunburn on the area to be treated, or if you have reacted to a retinoid before. Tell your provider about other skin products you use, especially anything drying or exfoliating.

Serious risks

This is a topical retinoid. It makes skin much more sensitive to sunlight: use sunscreen daily and avoid sun lamps and tanning. Severe redness, blistering, crusting or swelling means stop and contact your provider. Avoid waxing and harsh scrubs on treated skin. Keep it away from the eyes, mouth and nostrils.

Common side effects

Redness, peeling, dryness, stinging or warmth, and a temporary flare in the first weeks that usually settles by week eight to twelve.
